Mumbai hosts the prestigious SIP Abacus Regional Prodigy 2023

Over 700 SIP Abacus students from Mumbai battled it out for the title

Mumbai, SIP Abacus, organized the Regional level SIP Abacus Regional Prodigy Competition 2023 in Mumbai on 30th July, 2023. This massive scale competition was held at Babubhai Jagjivan Das Hall, D J Sanghvi Engg. College, Opposite Cooper Hospital, Vile Parle West, Mumbai.

The distinguished Chief Guest for the event was Shree Mangal Prabhat Lodha Honourable Minister of Skills, Employment Entrepreneurship & innovation, Govt. of Maharashtra, Guardian Minister Mumbai Suburban. The Guest of Hounor Shree Parag Alavani, Honourable MLA, Vile Parle & Smt. Chintha Anna Issac, IRS, Director, Staff Selection Commission, West Region also attended the event.

The mega event brought together 700+ SIP Abacus students from 16 centers in Mumbai. In the competition, the children solved around 300 mathematical problems in 11 minutes covering Abacus, multiplication and visual arithmetic sums. The competition is a platform for the SIP Abacus students to demonstrate their exceptional skills of arithmetic ability, memory and concentration, which they acquired through the SIP Abacus programme.

The regional prodigy is part of the SIP National Prodigy competition, scheduled to happen in a few months. SIP Abacus has in earlier years achieved 5 LIMCA book of records for the size and pattern of the competitions held in India and internationally.

In the Mumbai Regional Prodigy, the parents of 700+ students were present to witness this massive competition along with SIP Abacus India franchisee partners and employees. A total of over 1600 parents attended the function.

Addressing the students Mr. Lodha motivated the SIP Abacus students for Prodigy 2023. He also spoke about the importance of skill development at the right age and how SIP abacus is developing the skills like concentration, listening and memory power for children for 20 years.

Addressing the students, Mr. Parag Alwani praised the SIP Abacus Mumbai Kids for their enthusiasm and highly motivated skills.

Ms. Chintha Anna Issac highlighted the importance of hard work, having the right mindset and reading the books. She motivated the SIP Prodigy Participants for always striving for the right skills.
