Nutrifresh, India’s leading hydroponics farm, donates Fitness Equipment to Zilla Parishad Primary School, Ketkawale, near Pune

Agritech startup makes a donation worth Rs 4 lakh to Zilla Parishad Primary School, Ketkawale to drive mantra of physical fitness and mental health for 62 students in the school

Jan 31, Pune-based & India’s leading hydroponic farm, Nutrifresh, has donated play equipment worth INR 4 lacs to Zilla Parishad Primary School, Ketkawale on the occasion of this Republic Day. The donation also includes the installation of exercise equipment like double bars and single bars at the school premises which will help all 62 students to have better physical and mental health. Located at 2.5kkms away from their 33 acres farm, the school is occupied by the children of the women workers who  come from that village. Nutrifresh is aiming at building the community nurturing good food, mental and physical health in the local school near their farm thus preparing the kids to be fitter in the future. Mr Rohit Jagdale, Nutrition Officer, Nutrifresh, who is an Alumni at the school, handed over the equipment along with the village sarpanch on Republic Day to school principal.

Co-founded by two Agripreneurs, Sanket Mehta and Ganesh Nikam, Nutrifresh’ aim is to supply consistent pesticide-free Hydroponic produce that is nutrient-rich to the Indian consumer year-round. Nutrifresh is committed to quality and is one of the few farmers with ISO, FSSAI, APEDA, HACCP, and GLOBAL GAP certifications. As an Agritech startup operating for the last three years under the name of Nutrifresh Farm Tech India Pvt Ltd., having operations in Pune and Mumbai currently running a 33cres farm, we are into soilless and hydroponic cultivation.

Nutrifresh now sells its products to over 100 B2B aggregators in India, as well as modern trade aggregators and delivery partners such as Nature’s Basket, Big Basket, Swiggy, Kissan Konnect, and Zomato Hyperpure. It has an established protected growth facility that uses high-quality seeds from Israel and the United States, where the air is given in controlled amounts, water is RO-cleansed, and nutrients are water-soluble. From seed procurement to germination, nursery, harvesting, packaging, and finally delivery to the end user, the entire production is under control. The produce is delivered to the consumer within 24 hours of harvest, demonstrating that the supply chain is fully linked and in sync to ensure consistency of freshness.

The Nutrifresh farm can serve 30,000+ customers in Mumbai and Pune with their current capacity.  Consumers can order their veggies from the Company’s proprietary-owned website (www.nutrifresh.co), Android (Play Store), Apple (App Store) operated apps and Google forms.
