Customers can now register for PNB One (Mobile Banking Application) using Aadhar credentials

PNB is the first Indian bank to introduce Onboarding on PNB One through Aadhar OTP

Mumbai, December , 2022: Punjab National Bank (PNB), nation’s leading public sector bank, will now allow its customers to register on its flagship app, PNB ONE by using their Aadhar credentials and OTP-based authentication, becoming the first bank in India to introduce this category of onboarding. Customers can now log into PNB ONE using Aadhar card details and avail various features of the app. Some of the key features include Scan & Pay, account statements, funds transfers, and balance inquiries to cardless cash withdrawals, pre-approved personal loans, pre-qualified credit cards, IPO services, and others.

Sharing his thoughts on the new development, Shri Atul Kumar Goel, MD & CEO, said, “I am pleased to announce the introduction of Aadhar-based registration for enabling onboarding of customers on PNB One App. The new “SELF REGISTER” mechanism will reduce dependency on debit card for registration and provide a seamless and more user-friendly onboarding experience on PNB One. Customers who do not have our debit card will also be able to register and experience the superior banking features on PNB One.”

PNB One provides a wide range of quick, convenient, and hassle-free services to its customers. The bank already offers various routes of onboarding to PNB One – Bank’s revamped mobile application and has now added an even more convenient way for its customers. Hence, the latest development of Aadhar Card- based registration will be instrumental for PNB in offering its varied services across the length and breadth of the country.
