Water Kingdom & EsselWorld Bird Park celebrated International Women’s Day with the #YouInspireUs initiative

The Park felicitated 40 Principals of various schools from Mumbai

Mumbai,March 2021: Asia’s largest Water Park, Water Kingdom and India’s first interactive Bird Park, EsselWorld Bird Park celebrated women’s day with the Headmistresses of various schools from Mumbai on 8th March at 4 pm at St. Mary’s High School, Charkop, Kandivali. The occasion became momentous when Ms. Bhavana Shinde, Assistant Director Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India graced the event. Hosted in association with the Brihanmumbai Association of Head of Secondary & Higher Secondary Schools and Educational Tour Operators Association, Water Kingdom & EsselWorld Bird Park witnessed an overwhelming response. 

The event began with powerful speeches by each of the dignitaries, post which the Headmistresses were felicitated with a beautiful certificate and flowers. Each one of them was also invited on the stage to talk about their journey and their experience of managing the virtual schools, online classes, students and at the same time managing their household chores and family with the given extra care that each living being was to follow during the lockdown. These women were then entertained with fun filled games and engagement activities.

Hence, it gives us immense pleasure to felicitate them especially on an important day like Women’s Day”, Mr. Paresh Mishra, V.P. Sales & Marketing Head, EsselWorld & Water Kingdom.

As for the Principals, they played a vital role in ensuring how the education of the students are not hampered at any cost in their innovative and productive ways while also taking care of their own family and the household. As the owner of a School, I know the kind of challenges they have faced with so much courage and I truly acknowledge their hard work!” Mr. Anil Garg, President, Educational Tour Operators Association (ETOA).

Ms. Bhavana Shinde, Assistant Director, Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India said, “I am obliged to be a part of the #YouIspireUs event organized by Water Kingdom & EsselWorld Bird Park and thank them to host me. This also gives me an opportunity to thank and salute these women who have relentlessly worked even during the lockdown period towards shaping the careers of the children who are also the future of our Nation. Being a woman, I feel proud to say that we are the strongest beings who have the power to face any given adverse situation. We hope the year 2021 soon brings our lives back to normal so that the students can also travel for educational trips for better exposure and learning.”
