Singer Amruta Fadnavis’ next single Alag Mera Yeh Rang Hain, a tribute to acid attack survivors out now

Singer and social activist Amruta Fadnavis, who had earlier sung for social causes is back with yet another heart touching single Alag Mera Yeh Rang Hain which is a tribute to acid attack survivors. It is helmed by Director Raajeev Walia and features Donal Bisht. Makers have unveiled the single today, on the International Women’s Day i.e. March 8th, 2020.

The launch is graced by director Raajeev Walia, actress Donal Bisht, singer Amruta Fadnavis, acid attack victor Laxmi Agarwal, social activist Bharti Lavekar amongst others.

Emotional Amruta Fadnavis shares, “I have always sung for social causes from Beti Bachao to River Rejuvenation. I feel music is the best medium to put across the sensitivity of important social issues. Singing for acid attack ‘victors’ was an emotional experience and while singing and enacting in the video, I could actually feel the agony of victors and the divine spirit with which they stand up again to live a fulfilled life.”

Director Raajeev Walia says, “I have directed many biggest star studded social song videos from BETIYAAN part 1 & 2 to National Anthem to Lost in Love on Aids Awareness to Save The Girl Child series but this idea on acid victims was given to me by Amrutaji (Fadnavis). You will see a different kind of directorial narrative in this video which will touch everyone’s heart.”
