Opening of National Level Philatelic Exhibition INPEX-2019 at WTC
National Level Philatelic Exhibition – INPEX – 2019 began on 18th December, 2019 at World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai -400 005. Smt. Rajashree Birla, Chairperson, Shaswat Gandhi, Aditya Birla Group inaugurated the Exhibition as the Chief Guest. Smt. Swati Madhukar Pandey, Postmaster General, Mumbai Region was the Guest of Honor. Shri. Dhirubhai Mehta, Eminent Philatelist & ex-President of Philately Congress of India (PCI), Mrs. Damayanti Pittie, President of PCI and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Bagri, Secretary, PCI shared the dais.Around 1,000 frames consisting of more than 30,000 stamps on various subjects are displayed in this exhibition by Philatelists from all over India. Some very rare stamps and Postal Stationery is exhibited here for competition. It is also a very good opportunity for school students and members of public to witness Indian History through Postage Stamps which will continue till 22nd December, 2019 (Sunday)
