June , Mumbai: Arth, the latest dining destination from Aallia Hospitality Pvt Ltd, combines high quality food with luxurious ambience. The restaurant is a seamless blend of unique ingredients, traditional cooking styles and contemporary plating.

The restaurant’s interiors are designed by Gauri Khan. The use of statement pieces with theatrical flourish and elegant antique chandeliers lend a distinctive aura of warmth and grandeur amidst the rustic leitmotif that runs throughout the space.

A preopening dinner at the restaurant had a galaxy of stars in attendance including Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan with Suhana and Aryan, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sohail Khan, Malaika Arora, Ayan Mukerji, Imtiaz Ali, Farah Khan, Yash Birla, Sussanne Khan, Amrita Arora, Sushant Singh Rajput, Kriti Sanon, Deanne Pandey, Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Nandita Mahtani, Dino Morea, Seema Khan, Natasha Poonawala, Shweta Nanda, Arjun Kapoor, Chunky Pandey and many more.

‘Arth’, signifies the intrinsic quality of something, especially something abstract, which determines its character. The ingredient-forward experiential restaurant and bar is distinguished by a gas free kitchen, where guests can experience the best of Executive Chef Amninder Sandhu’s traditional cooking methods with ingredients reinterpreted in innovative ways while retaining their essence or “arth”.

The interiors complement the restaurant’s culinary philosophy creating an atmosphere that exudes a perfect balance between tradition and modernity, blending conventional handcraftsmanship with a fearless quest for innovation.

The soul of Arth lies nestled on the first floor, laying key emphasis on all things traditional, starting from unique cooking techniques and extending into the minutest of design elements. A magnificent 2.4m statuesque, extravagant backlit triangular prism, and Parisian inspired lamps and crystal mirrors, create a true sense of splendor.

Shares Gauri Khan, “Dining should be a delightful and a beautiful experience. At Arth, we wanted to create an inviting atmosphere. The space is rustic-chic with soft lighting. Stunning, old-world chandeliers are central to the design. The ambience beautifully complements the food.”
