Mumbai ,October, 2019: Putting on a power-packed performance and displaying their innate talent for natural dramatics, children of Small Wonders, the Pre-primary section and Secondary section of Beacon High School held the audience spellbound as they participated at the Annual Day of the School. Held on October 17 at the St. Andrews Auditorium, Bandra, children from the Pre-primary section participated in a play “Fun at the Circus” while pupils from the Secondary school acted in a play “Into the Mind” conceptualized and directed by the teachers. Ashish Shelar, School Education Minister, Maharashtra Government put in an appearance to motivate the children.

“We believe that every child is unique, a storehouse of talent. The Annual Day is an initiative whereby we aim to provide a stimulating environment for children to shed their inhibitions and build their confidence by performing their art forms in front of a live audience. It also motivates them to nurture their skills, build camaraderie with their fellow students and create an inclusive learning experience,” stated Mrs. K S Jamali, Principal, Beacon High School, Mumbai

Incepted in the year 2000, Beacon High School has grown from a strength of 54 students to around 700 students presently. Putting an onus on individual attention to each student, each class from Pre-Nursery to Grade X comprises of not more than 28 students. Thirteen batches of ICSE have appeared and passed with 100% results.
