Korum Mall presents Chandrayaan – 2

Created by record breaking artists Abaasaheb Shewale, this art piece made with pushpins was a mesmerizing sight

In the spirit of Independence Day, a true spectacle of patriotism was showcased at Korum Mall, Thane. Renowned world record holder artist Abaasaheb Shewale showcased his amazing rendition of Chandrayaan 2 made with pushpins. The 8 by 6 feet mosaic made with 44,652 pushpins was a portrayal of India’s marvellous moon mission and made the onlookers chest swell with pride. Visitors will get an opportunity to witness this art piece between August 15 and August 22.

Abaasaheb Shewale along with his team is known to create artistic marvels. His recent record breaking artwork was Padma Bhushan Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s 20 feet x 30 feet portrait made with chess pieces showcased at Korum Mall.  

When asked what inspired him to create this masterpiece, Abaasaheb Shewale said, “It is indeed a great time for India currently with a new wave of development and growth. The current Chandrayaan 2 mission is something each Indian is proud of including myself. This was my contribution as a resident of this country and a tribute to the great scientists of ISRO.”

The mall was flocking with visitors who were in awe of this masterpiece. Mr. Surender Pal, Head Retail – Kalpataru Retail Ltd., said, “Korum Mall always believes in bringing something unique for their customers.
