More than 8000 Students from 20 Schools Participated in Korea – India Friendship Quiz Contest Mumbai 2019

This Mumbai MMR’s largest ever Quiz Contest for School Students on international topic was organised by Korean Cultural Centre India. The prizes were given by Mr. Kim Dong Young, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai. The top two winners got a free trip each to Korea for 6 Days and 5 Nights. Rest of the 18 winners got total cash prizes of Rupees Forty Seven thousand and trophies.

A unique and unprecedented project, the Korea – India Friendship Quiz Contest Mumbai succeeded in bringing out heart-touching excellence in the form of intelligent answers to difficult questions from the Indian students. Some deeply imbibed the knowledge about Korea, while some just learnt the facts. But whatever may be their route, the destination of all was the same – learning more and more about Korea

Winner students, their parents and teachers interacted with media and told interesting stories about this competition. Mr. Kim Dong Young appreciated the diligence of Indian students, while giving away the certificates. He said “This contest is an important opportunity to introduce Korea and its culture to the students, the future of India. I am convinced that they will contribute and play a major role in the bilateral relationship with their understanding of Korea.”

The top two winners who won the Free Trips to Korea for 6 days said that they were very happy and excited to see Korea. They thanked their school, teacher and parents for this achievement.
