14th International Exhibition on Smart and Sustainable City Solutions – Municipalika Opens at CIDCO’s Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai, May 2017: Municipalika is organizing a three day exhibition and conference from 18th to 20th May, 2017 at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre, Navi Mumbai. The country has been witnessing focussed initiatives for development of planned, smart, safe, secure, and sustainable cities-through the various urban and housing missions: 100 smart cities, 500 Amrut Cities, Swachh Bharat Mission, and Housing for All with 20 Million Urban Houses by 2022 and the 14th edition of this exhibition for Smart and Sustainable cities in Indiawill be providing a wide platform for the industry.

The three day Conference and Exhibition, with the theme of ‘Smart and Sustainable City Solutions’ will provide an opportunity to showcase the best solutions for various challenges faced by India’s growing cities one of which is doubling of the urban population from 28 crores in 2001 to over 56 crores by 2021.The Municipalika Exhibition segment is one of the biggest in the country, with over 150 exhibitors showcasing technologies, equipment, products, software and solutions for Smart and Sustainable Cities, covering all facets of urban and housing development and building construction activities.

The Expo is expecting over 1,000 participants from India and other countries. The Government of Maharashtra is the Host state, and the event will be supported by Government of India and its ministries of Urban Development, New and Renewable Energy, Electronics and Information Technology, etc. Canada and Singapore will be bringing forth their rich global experience of decades in creating sustainable and vibrant smart cities with the best practices in planning, design, execution and good governance of cities.This Expo will be a highly researched and a stage to display a wide range of products and services from smart solutions, energy management, environmental management, IT solutions, construction, infrastructure, auto, power, environment and pollution control, safety management, health and sanitation development and much more.

Municipalika 2017 will be holding 10 conference sessions, some of which include Smart and Sustainable Cities, Safe, Resilient Secure Cities, Sustainably Built Environment and Communities, etc. An Interesting feature is the platform provided for Participative cities through interactive sessions with those who are governing and governed for making the citizens and cities to mutually benefit through joint actions. Municipalika will bring together global and local manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and service providers to network and procure the latest solutions and opportunities provided in the market.
